Batl Capital is a proudly Canadian Toronto based family owned and managed single family office, established in 2024. Our mandate is to invest our own capital across numerous platforms and oversee a portfolio that includes public equities, fixed income, private debt, private equity, infrastructure, real estate and other real assets, venture capital and hedge funds.

We are value added investors with decades of experience in professional practice, business operations, finance, underwriting and asset management.

We invest in sponsor led and direct opportunities, and provide support as needed. We are disciplined and focussed on sponsors with a demonstrated track record of success. We are patient investors with a view to long term value creation. While we are sector agnostic and diversified across alternative platforms, we look most favourably at the North American lower to middle market private equity market.

We are a third and fourth generation Canadian family with roots in Toronto dating back to the 1920s. Our story is typical of the many Eastern European families who came to Canada seeking a better life and future for their children in the years leading up to World War II. Our grandparents worked as labourers and laid the foundation for the success that their future generations would enjoy. Ultimately, businesses were created in manufacturing and distribution and real estate ownership and management, and which continue today as exclusively owned and operated family enterprises. It is our responsibility to manage the investable capital that has come from these efforts, through a platform that will serve both the current and future generations of our family, and our community via directed philanthropic investments.
